Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using AutoPlanet, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
2. User Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Phone numbers are required for all users to facilitate communication between buyers and sellers.
3. Listing Auto Parts
Sellers must provide accurate descriptions, pricing, and images of auto parts. All parts must be genuine and as described. Misrepresentation of products is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension.
4. Transactions
AutoPlanet facilitates connections between buyers and sellers but is not directly involved in transactions. Payment processing is handled through Paystack. Buyers and sellers are responsible for completing transactions and resolving any disputes.
5. Prohibited Activities
Users may not: post false or misleading information, engage in fraudulent activities, harass other users, sell counterfeit or stolen parts, or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
6. Fees and Payments
Listing basic parts is free. Premium features such as promoted listings require payment. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦).
7. Intellectual Property
All content on AutoPlanet, including logos, designs, and text, is owned by AutoPlanet or its licensors. Users retain ownership of content they post but grant AutoPlanet a license to use it for platform operations.
8. Limitation of Liability
AutoPlanet is not liable for any damages arising from the use of our platform, including but not limited to transaction disputes, product quality issues, or data loss. We provide the platform "as is" without warranties.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in prohibited activities. Users may delete their accounts at any time through their profile settings.
10. Changes to Terms
AutoPlanet may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts.
